Thermoprofile is a thin-walled, galvanised steel sheet which is used for the production of exterior walls and facades. The strength of the steel and its good flexibility allow for the production of sheets which are light and thin but at the same time strong and durable.
Generally, thermoprofile providers will offer uniform products that need to be adapted to fit the construction requirements of prefabricated houses, making it a long and rather labour-intensive process. To overcome these problems, Loodesystem, an Estonian producer of building materials and prefabricated houses, decided seven years ago to develop its own new production line for thermoprofiles.
